Kensington Duo Gel Mouse Wristrest Wave Black and Blue
The mouse pad I bought is the black and blue one, but it looks exactly like the one in the picture. The purple and green one in the picture is from the same model, with different colours. The title itself specifies (black and blue) so I don't know why they included another picture. Anyway, I use my laptop for a long time, but I never thought of buying a mouse pad because I used to think it's a clumsy thing. Recently, I started to notice the mark that the desk leaves on my wrist from using the mouse for a long time, and I thought of buying something more comfortable.
I found Kensington Duo Gel Mouse Wristrest on Amazon and I thought it looks nice, although I was a little hesitant when I saw the price. I bought it from Amazon although it costs £10.35, rather than buying it from other sellers for a little over £6.00 because I didn't want to pay £4.50 to other sellers. On Amazon, this product is eligible for Free UK delivery on orders over £15. Of course, you can buy a normal mouse mat for £1.00, but then it won't have gel in it. Kensington comes in the same dreadful transparent packaging that such products come in, with the exception that you can get it out by removing the staples without having to cut your fingers.
A very good thing about this mouse pad is the non-slip base it has that prevents it from moving; this actually works for it is still stuck in its place on my desktop. The surface is smooth and it allows you to use your mouse comfortably even in high speed. If you were wondering why the gel looks like that, the answer is that it's not just a matter of designing a mouse pad that looks good. It looks great, actually, but the curves in it are there to suit the curves in your hand and give you even more comfort. The soft gel is supposed to distribute the pressure and keep your hand cool, and I definitely agree with this.
All in all, I would say this is a mouse pad that makes using your mouse much more comfortable, it looks great, and it is not very expensive.
