Advantages: Comfortable, offers good support.

Disadvantages: At £4 there cant be any complaints.

Although in my previous review I suggested you also take a look at the matching gel mouse mat/wrist rest, I own the Kensington version of this rest. Basically, the Kensington version is made from foam as opposed to a gel pad. I found that the foam was more comfortable and because it is a different texture to the wrist rest, it feels better. If you were to buy this foam mouse pad then you would immediately notice the quality and feel the benefits instantly.

The pad itself supports your wrist in holding the mouse and provides adequate padding to prevent pressure points. The foam pad is said to be designed to distribute wrist pressure more evenly and I agree with this and would say this pad does just that. The foam itself feels firm but comfortable and I expect it will last a long period of time if kept clean. Soft fabric covers the foam for comfort and the surface of the mouse pad is non-reflective for a better, more accurate experience. A non-slip base to the whole pad is provided with a rubber underside and this is essential to provide a consistent position of the pad and mat.

One last point I must make is that the mouse mat itself is not only non-reflective, but it somehow prevents dirt from finding its way onto my optical mouse. The surface area of the mat is also very generous. Another thoroughly worthwhile purchase for my workstation.

Summary: Another worthwhile workstation purchase!
