Advantages: Touch screen, Huge.
Disadvantages: Expensive.
Ok I had been saving up for one of these for a while and when I got it I was truley amazed at what a wonderfull product it was.
As a hobby I like to make 3d models for computer games. This requires painting textures in photoshop, and the amount this monitor has improved my texturing just from the touch screen capabilities is phenominal.
I would truly advise getting one if your an industry proffessional in the CG industry, or to anyone who can afford it with an interest in digital artwork.
The sensitivity is amazing, also it measures pen tilt so if your using a marker pen or spray pen on it then you get very similar effects to real life.
The cost may however be a limiting factor, it costs around £2300, and pens etc cosy around £80 a peice.
The screen is 21 inches in diamiter, pressure sensityvity is 1024 levels. There are new macro buttons known as express keys on the sides which allow you to zoom in and out, scroll and do tons of other neat functions which save time.
The cintiq also works in unison with other Wacom tablets (Primarily the intuos 3) and the varoius accessories, ie grip pens, marker pens are sharable between the two products.
The Cintiq stand is also very neat, you can tilt the angle, rotate the screen, have it flat... Basically it'll go into any position you want and it really eases use.
All the pens have both a "pen end" and an eraser end for easy erasing. This really helps when using photoshop as opposed to selecting the eraser tool, changing the diameter and then erasing, yuo can just flip the pen over.

It's a really nice product, however it is very expensive. If yuor an industry proffessional then I would consider buying one but for hobbyists I would just get a intuos or a cheaper graphics tablet.
