well being honest i work in Insurance myself and my honest opinion of AXA Insurance is that their a crowd of crooks! I stupidly took out cover with them myself last year .....with full NCB , yes the price was competitive and suited my needs (or so i thought) Well unfortunately
i was involved in an accident in November of last year . I reported the accident within 24hours and an assessor came out to look at my car . The car was completely written off and i was advised by the claims handlers that the claim would be settled as non-fault. So stupidly i did not follow this up, then a cheque came in the post for 2,000euro. When i rang i was advised that this was to cover the cost of my car!! Now the car was an 2003 PEUGEOT 406 and worth a hell of alot more than this.
I let the matter rest until the next bombshell, my renewal ! The price was 2,700euro triple last years price. When i studied the letter i soon discovered why!!! They has settled the claim as fault against me and there had been a drop down of 3years NCB . This is an absolute disgrace as time and time again i was promised my policy would be uneffected by the claim .I'm am disgusted with this firm and disheartened by the way i have been treated. Customer service was very poor indeed and i will never insure with such con artists again . Learn from my mistake!!!!!
