Advantages: none Disadvantages: They don't pay out, wllfully and creatively obstructive and delay
Do Not use AXA Insurance. It is as simple as that. Read all the reviews, the only people happy are those that never had to claim. My cover is payment protection insurance against my mortgage through Britannia and provided by Axa. I am covered for redundancy, sickness, accident and death. I was made redundant in April 2009 which AXA accept. I then had an operation, they claim this supersedes redundancy. ~Note I am covered for accident and sickness. They are trying to claim that because I have had knee problems before, it was a pre existing condition and they don't cover it. That means that now I have recovered from the op my claim for redundancy starts at the point of recovery and they don't pay for the first two months anyway. So far this has been going for 5 months and I haven't received a bean. They use any loophole they can. Claim to have sent letters that never arrive. Claim not to receive letters that you send. They delay as much as they can and constructively use anything they can not to pay. They record all conversations with you but then claim that they are unable to verify the e mails they promised to send were sent or not. It all appears to be lies or incompetance, there can be no other interpretation and neither is good. Summary: their loopholes are tantamount to fraud - don't insure with them |
