Do Not use AXA Insurance. It is as simple as that. Read all the reviews, the only people happy are those that never had to claim. My cover is payment protection insurance against my mortgage through Britannia and provided by Axa. I am covered for redundancy, sickness, accident and death. I was made redundant in April 2009 which AXA accept. I ... Read the complete review

I insured my car since the year 2004, with AXA-Gulf, Bahrain, in the executive category. This year I had an accident claim, for which they fixed up with the agency Euro Motors. Section 8 of the cover says, I will be provided with free hire car during the repair period, from the Budget rent-a-car. On the scheduled day of leaving my car with garage, Budget says I must go to their head quarters, because AXA deals only with them. When I queried AXA on who will bear the taxi fare and account for time loss, they simply replied, they do not know. I am still chasing their management to get the car delivered at garage and await a positive response. I'm not going to repair until this is sorted out, will update this page with development. Do NOT USE AXA insurance , they have made me feel like a criminal.
I insured my laptop over and above my house insurance, it was damaged when i splity a drink on it. I have never ever claimed on any insurance before for the home..
they kept me on the ohone for nearly two hours questioning me asking mne the same thing over and over again..
so i said - well why didnt you look at the computer then .. and the stain on the carpet that occcured at the same time.. the man on the phone said they do not have loss adjusters and they are telephone based only,
They treated me really badly and made me cry .. pay slightly more and go with a reputable company - they are set up to avoid payment .. not to honestly payout when damage occurs

Have been unlucky, unlucky enough to be burgled and insured by axa, both VERY unlucky. Been grilled for over an hour about the crime which reduced me to tears on several occasions, been made to feel like a criminal myself and eventually after reading and pointing out that the policy did cover all my loses they are willing to replace everything I asked for.....fine you may think but to be made to feel guilty for claiming after paying for 10 years I think is disgusting and no doubt my premium will further punish me when renewal is due, not that this company will be getting my business again!!
Use Axa as long as you are sure you will NEVER need to claim.

Well, I must say, I wish I'd have seen this website BEFORE I bought Axa Car Insurance. Recently- just last week in fact I had the misfortune to be involved in a car accident and yep, you guessed it....I have Axa Motor Insurance. All was well until I had the audacity to ask for the courtesy car that I stipulated on my insurance policy. ... Read the complete review

I first used AXA insurance way back in 1995 when I first took up taxi driving for a living. Despite the fact that I was then 44 years old with a totally clean driving record (no claims or convictions for over 15 years) they refused to give me any credit or no claims discount whatsoever, and charged me over £5,000 (old Irish Punts) for ... Worse than useless, I have been trying to cash in some bonds for over a month, I have sent in 3 requests, the last one by recorded delivery, made 33 phone calls to the call centre in India, received one call back from customer services who checked the details and tell me the money was transferred to my bank 2 weeks ago - so far no sign of it.

A small rant against Axa France and the worst level of customer service I have ever received. My motorcycle is insured with Axa France. Unfortunately the bike was stolen on 6th February 2007. The bike was recovered the following day. Over five months later and I still haven't been refunded for the cost of repairing the ... Read the complete review

Three years ago I was involved in my first-ever (and so far only) accident as a driver. A very, very big lorry rear-ended me as I waited to enter a roundabout. The back hatch of our Corsa was ruined and the entire rear window shattered, spraying me and the interior of the car and boot with glass shards (we are still finding those). AXA were our ...
