I have been a customer of Britannic Assurance for most of my adult life; I have had many policies with them, the most enduring being the contents cover.
The premiums have been consistently low and I have been able to increase my cover as I have increased the possessions I have acquired.
Britannic used to have a weekly collection agent but, unfortunately, this is no longer the case so I had to switch to direct debits to pay my premiums. This is very convenient but I miss the calls from the ever-friendly agents. I suppose these days it's not safe to collect money from customers in the evenings and I don't blame them for discontinuing this service. Of course, it also saves the company a fortune in wages by having the premiums paid automatically through the bank!
I have had to make the occasional claim over the years but these have always been handled with great care and respect and I certainly have never been made to feel that I have no right to claim. They have also never delayed in making the payment to me when my claim has been approved.
All in all, I think Britannic Assurance offer a good service at realistic rates and I recommend them to anyone looking for a good insurance company.
