Having achieved and held a full protected no-claims discount for years my then vehicle was systematically attacked, torched and evidence stolen. The local authority [Manchester City Council] do not want to know [so much for 24 hour on-site security, cameras lights]. CGNU Group washed their hands of policy. 5 years on I am still waiting for resolution to fully comprehensive policy. With an unsettled claim alternative insurance is either unavailable or comes with punitive premiums keeping me off the road.
