Churchill enthusiastic about insurance, so their motto says. Actually I say it is being not completely helpful!
We had an automobile accident 11th August this year on the road back from vacation in Devon. We'd travelled about 30 minutes and ended up as auto 2 in a line of 4 who'd a bulge..well, amount 4 car drove to the back of us all.
I had been taken in the scene within an ambulance leaving children and husband with all the wreck to sort out. When told concerning the injury saying that we're able to try and get overnight accommodation etc., husband and kids were good So a truck took in the scene under police instruction by a truck.
Arrived home a day later and rang Churchill. Told husband and kids the car had been taken by a truck. Ok husband and kids say they'd follow it up. We waited... and waited. So I rang. What news of the car...don't know husband and kids would find out. Well the car have been moved to a different garage and husband and kids didn't know what state it had been in they would try and phone them... while I had been on hold... and its particular not a freephone number. Anyhow the garage would ring me back.
So Churchill called, husband and kids had had no information in the engineers so couldn't suggest me. A couple of days later a guy telephoned asking me where the automobile was and was it drivable !!! WHAT!!!
To cut a long story short, the auto was scrutinized on 21st August, I was not phoned by the Churchill engineers until 28th August .
We finally possess the right offer,from which my GBP100 excess will soon be deducted as well as the monthly premiums!!!
Their only redeeming feature is the fact that because I've CLAS legal service with them I have already been made a really good solicitor, who I've used before!!
I have to say I'm not going to insure any vehicle with them again!!!
