I have been with the halifax for 3 years now and haven't had to make a claim thank god Fingers Crossed I only have contents with them and no Buildings insurance Price for the contents is £11.50 per month which is not bad for Contents Personal belonging and Mobile phone cover. We have had our buildings and contents insurance with Halifax since we moved into our house 5 years ago. We have only claimed once or twice, but they have been brilliant. For instance this year I accidently broke the hifi and wasn't sure if we would be covered, so I just phoned up to check. The lady asked what had happened and how much the hifi was worth. So I told her and she then said there would be £50 knocked for the excess and the cheque would be with us in a few days!! Luckily I found Halifax at the last minute. There site was one of the easiest and quickest I found for getting a quick and accurate quote. No asking for your full details from birth, how much cover you wanted ... Read the complete review
