I have been with the halifax for 3 years now and haven't had to make a claim thank god Fingers Crossed I only have contents with them and no Buildings insurance Price for the contents is £11.50 per month which is not bad for Contents Personal belonging and Mobile phone cover. Halifax home insurance is very good Full replacement for contents insurance High Risk Items Std £7.5k with a single item limit of £1.5k which covers things like audio video and computer equiptment jewellery etc Basically anything a burglar would go for first. you can Choose different TOTAL limit but i didn't need to change this also standard contents cover Accidental damage to ... Luckily I found Halifax at the last minute. There site was one of the easiest and quickest I found for getting a quick and accurate quote. No asking for your full details from birth, how much cover you wanted ... Read the complete review

Halifax has got to be the worst insurance company I have ever had the displeasure of being with, as it is, car insurance happens to be biggest con, especially for drivers under the age of 26, until you reach that age, cannot protect your no claims bonus, so when I had the misfortune of a landrover reversing into the back of me, the hellish process began, I contacted Halifax to let them know the situation, they took down the details and told me that I would have to pay for the damage, until they had confirmation from the other driver, plus I would loss 4 years of my now claim bonus too, in this position, I obviously had no choice, but to go ahead, with out boring you ...
