Last month my house and contents insurance came up for renewal. So I took the hard task of hunting for the best ? and I?m glad I did.

I decided we wanted the full cover, buildings with accident cover, contents with accident cover, and personal cover away from the home.

After a few days of hunting I found this was going to be around £300 - £400 depending on whether we had personal cover. This was too much, and I was almost ready to give up.

Luckily I found Halifax at the last minute. There site was one of the easiest and quickest I found for getting a quick and accurate quote. No asking for your full details from birth, how much cover you wanted etc, and some even asked for your driving convictions. No Halifax was simple, and they even cover for unlimited buildings and contents cover.

The best of all is the quote was for £225 for everything I wanted. I even had to phone their helpline to confirm this. I just couldn?t believe it, and even their staff were nice and helpful.

Well I am covered with the Halifax now, and have saved a small fortune. I would recommend anyone.
