I changed from our previous car insurer to Hastings Direct because they offered a cheaper quote.
Their Customer Services department doesn't always give accurate information, which, in our case, led to wasted hours and telephone expenses. When trying to complain to a higher level of management i was given the run-around.
I may have saved money on my premium but i've discovered the hard way that money is not everything.
In future, i would rather pay more and have an efficient, friendly and reliable Customer Services department.
I will not renew my car insurance with Hastings Direct after my current policy expires.
