Hastings Direct do not encrypt your bank card details, all 16 numbers are on view for all of their employees to see. Hastings Direct - POOR - Advantages: first quote is quite cheap, the customer help line is populated with understanding people who have little knowledge of the services and continually put you on hold while they speak to a manager., nothing else - Disadvantages: lost documents. penalties for cancelling which are not outlined in their documentation., really expensive renewal quotes which are hiked up even without a claim., neighbour had the same car and he was quoted over £100 less even though i had been with the company without claim for a 2nd year you figure it out.
