Newest Review: ... the adjustor were never returned and letters never replied to. More calls to Prudential to no avail. Even tears didn’t work! Meanwhile the contractor for Prudential called out more builders and damp specialists. Parts were taken away for analysis and one poor chap was left to dig up some of the concrete (which I had warned had pipes below). We’ve been with Prudential for our household insurance for a number of years but after advice we decided to put a claim in for damage to our kitchen flooring. We needed to lift a bit and found the floor to be soaking. We were told that the reason why our flooring hadn’t lasted as long as expected was because it was lying on a virtual ocean! Never mind we could claim and sure enough we were sent a builder/estimator to find the extent of the damage. He was very good, cleared the flooring away, put in dehumidifiers and said he would be back. After a number of visits the floor was still very wet and alarm bells started to ring. We had the ...
