I have dealt with Zurich Life a lot over the past 5 years and have always found them to be a helpful, happy and friendly small company. The fact is that they appear small because of the customer service you receive, they are in fact part of one of the World's largest insurance companies.

Things have been different recently. The friendly approach you used to receive seems to have disappeared to be replaced by the usual no nonsense conveyor belt service like the other companies.

This has occurred since their merger with Allied Dunbar and Eagle Star. I know some of the personnel have changed but it seems the whole company ethos has changed with the merger. Customer service does not seem to be as paramount as it used to.

Zurich, don't become an unfriendly giant. Keep you're personal touch, it is possible.
