Advantages: Location, good prices on tickets, reliable.

Olavi Internet centre used to be an Internet cafe and travel agent, now just a travel agent, just of the main strip of Khao San Road, in the city of Bangkok, Thailand. It has been running since 1991, and is now named 'Olavi Tours & Travel'.

No longer available is the internet access service, they now focus on the travel agent side of things, package tour booking, domestic and international airline tickets, train tickets, bus tickets, car hire and hotel booking. They provide these services to mainly the backpackers on Khao San Road.

The location can be hard to find as it's not actually on Khao San Road, but just across the road of then end with the police station, almost across the road from Gullivers (bar) and adjacent to the temple.

Internet access is not a problem for any traveller on Khao San Road now, as there are many places up and down both sides of the street with internet access, therefore them dropping the internet access side of their business is no big problem.

Competetive rates on travel booking is available, and they are one of the most popular travel agents in the vicinity, I have used them for a combined, Train - Bus - Ferry - Ferry ticket and everything was completely fine.

All I would say is beware of catching the ferrys at night time, i.e. the 'last boat' as the people might not take your ticket and charge you another price, what can you do? You can't wait on the pier all night so you pay it. I had this happen to me but not on a tour booked with Olavi.
