Advantages: Cheap, clean, friendly, refreshments available, centrally located

Disadvantages: The same as all internet cafes - occasionally noisy game players or pervy old men!

As a visitor to Warsaw who needs the use of interent, you will just need one name: Simple Internet Cafe (ok, that's 3..)

Simple Internet Cafe couldn't be located in a more convenient place, at "Rotunda", the large roundabout bang in the centre by the Palace of Culture which is right next to Metro Centrum. For a central location, you would expect to pay a high price but in fact this is one of the cheapest internet cafe's in town.

Simple Internet Cafe is open 24hrs and at peak time it is 4 or 5zl per hour which is the standard rate in the city but there are several different time periods where it is 3, 2 and even as low as 1zl per hour (the latter is 3am to 6am I believe).

After paying however much you want to pay, you are given a receipt with a code on, you can then log on and log off as you like. For instance you buy 6zl (you could use the internet for 30 minutes at peak hours followed by a few hours at the cheaper times), you can come and go as you please and this allows great flexibility.

Scanning, printing, connections for laptop, photocopying and various help with documents is also on offer and very reasonably priced, there is a vending machine filled with drinks, crisps, chocolate etc , coffee is available from the reception and snacks such as sandwiches are also on offer.

The internet cafe consists of 100's of computers, so there is always space. The staff are friendly and helpful and all of them speak English. I definitely recommend going here because in other places, you can either pay over the odds, face slow connections or they can be crowded. Each computer comes with headphones and a microphone set, if you do plan on calling someone, I suggest sitting away from the back end which is usually inhabited by an occasionally rowdy bunch of teenagers playing shoot em up games.

As I said.. it's a big orange building by Rotunda, it's signposted continuously throughout the subway and you really can't miss it.
