I am very new to Dooyoo but since joining Dooyoo abuse is something that I have heard mentioned so many times. It is also something I think that many members have their own interpretation of.
Dooyoo rules state that each review must contain a minimum of 150 words per review. Not included in the 150 words is repetition of words or lists of ingredient/nutritious info etc. It must be 150 words of actual review.
So if Dooyoo members are writing review with 150 words of good quality review content then they are not doing anything wrong?
Well according to the Dooyoo rules this is correct but according to a lot of members this is not. A lot of members feel that reviews of approx. 150 words are abusing the site, and class people who regularly write these sort of reviews as "churners".
At first I was a bit confused as to exactly what was allowed and what wasn't.
In my opinion if someone is writing a genuine review of a product they have experienced, to the best of their ability then it should be accepted by all of the dooyoo community.
A suggested way around this problem-
What if Dooyoo only pays writers for reviews that get and average rating of useful or very useful and that way churners (such as myself) would ensure that our reviews (although short) contain lots of useful information and the dooyooers who dislike churners may be happier that churners are only being paid for quality reviews
Just an idea :)
