***The Fine Romance***

I can't actually remember how I came across Dooyoo. I know it was completely by accident, but a very fortunate one in my opinion. Dooyoo has given me something back that I've been without for several years. The desire to write.

I've always loved writing, and have many novel ideas stored away for rainy days, as well as an almost-finished novel which until recently has simply been gathering dust on a shelf. I love the feeling of letting go when I'm writing - do you knwo what I mean? Where suddenly you stop typing and realise that you've written three pages of text without quite being concious of it. Like getting lost up in a good book, or an amazing painting, where time just stands still until you're finished, and then goes super fast to catch up!

I love being able to write on Dooyoo, as it gives me some very important "me" time every day where I sit down and let the review that's been building up in my mind all day out. I can easily write a review every day, though it's not often I'll post more than one opinion per day.

Dooyoo has a fantastic array of products and services that you can wax lyrical about, and if what you want to talk about isn't there already, then you can suggest it using the easy suggestion tool on your homepage. I've suggested loads of things from whisky to my favourite novels.

All in all, I am completely in love with dooyoo, and revel in how great it feels to write and be read. Getting to read other people's work is also a big thing for me - I enjoy finding out how other people have decribed things, and portrayed them in their ops. For me, I have to say that the money is an easy second best to the actual feeling that I'm following my heart and doing what I love - writing. If you're out to make money then it is fairly easy for all those 3peez to add up, but you have to be consistant and you have to make an effort, or people will just stop reading your work.

To all you fellow dooyooers, I'm glad to be amongst you, and to anyone thinking of becoming a member, come on in and join the party. It's great fun!
