Advantages: A fantastic website, great community spirit, helpful staff.

Disadvantages: A few bad apples are trying to spoil the barrel.

I have been a member of Dooyoo since 2005 but have been actively participating in writing reviews, reading, rating & commenting since around the start of this year.

I write a fair few reviews most days at present as I am out of work and I am living between my Mums, sisters & Toms. This means that I might come across lots of different products in a week or lots of the same (tends to depend where everyone shops and what's on offer!). I love having a variety of products to write about and it's fair to say that food & drink are definitely my favourite things to write about and something that I enjoy many times a day (I'm a bit of a greedy girl...).

I am a huge fan of Dooyoo and I love the community spirit of the place. It's nice to be able to chat to people and see what they think of things as well as reading the mainly lovely comments that I get left. There is also lots of room for debates on Dooyoo and the Speakers Corner helps to spark up that passion in people and it's great to read about different perspectives on things.

I know that some people may get a little tested by the amount of reviews that I post but Dooyoo have never said anything to me about it so that is my main concern really. If they wanted me to slow down or whatever then I'm sure they would either tell me or just impose a limit of the amount of reviews per day.

There are a few things about the site that I can't stand and that is when new members join and review a subject that may have been reviewed lots of times before and they get some sarcastic comment about the amount of times this product has already been reviewed. I think that you can really never have too many reviews on something or too much opinion. Every person may well have something different to bring up on the subject or product involved. I try and return rate wherever possible but if I miss somebody once or twice I don't expect a smart comment. I don't rate people to receive a return rate I just do it to take part in the community and read about products that I am interested in.

I have found lots of yummy new food & drink items through Dooyoo and have brought a few new electronic items of late. I struggle with writing reviews on electronics or DVDs/Films because I just don't seem able to provide enough information to appease people and this is the main reason that I don't review in those areas as I don't want to create a substandard review in a subject I just don't know enough about.

I save all of the vouchers that I earn from Dooyoo and I now have over £300 on my Amazon account which is being cashed in in 13 days time for a 32" HD TV for my fiancé, Tom. He does so much for me and it's nice that all my writing & work on other websites is enabling me to do something lovely for him for a change even though I'm currently out of work.

Overall I love Dooyoo as a site, I visit it for quite a few hours each weekday (slightly less on weekends), I love the community spirit of the whole website and I love to read about peoples lives and the products that they have tried. I also find that I think about Dooyoo a LOT when I'm not here. What am I reviewing next? Have I reviewed this? I must remember to add this to the website... Even my other half is asking if I've reviewed products of his etc and reminding me to add the Camp Site that we are visiting at the end of this month.
