Well...here I am my two hundredth review!

I thought it would be a good idea to reflect upon my 200 reviews and how I feel it is all going after a good few months as a member.

I recently looked back at some of my reviews and I am pleased with how they are going. I can see that as time has progressed and I have enjoyed reading the reviews and styles of others, how this has then impacted upon my own writing. I do enjoy all sorts of reviews, but do feel that there are limits to how much one should write about some products. Lengthier reviews in my opinion should be limited to places of interest, restaurants and theatre shows. A tin of beans or a steak and kidney pie really does not warrant 2000 words and as much as I try, I can never really get more than 600 words out about them!

I recently have joined other review sites like CIAO, but I must say that I feel most at home on Dooyoo. I know lots of 'faces' now and know that reviews by regulars to the site will be insighful and informative.

I really enjoy reviews that do not quote what we can see on the packet, but reflect upon tastes and feelings, as well as the experiances you may have had.

I have never had any problems with my Dooyoo cheques and have found that this money has come in useful as a little pot for those rainy day extras. Currently, I am saving up spending money for a trip to Australia so I have found that Dooyoo is a good way of engaging my brain and also earning some extra cash, sure, I know that I am not going to become a millionaire, but good review writing has helped me in my work too to become more focussed and less waffly!

I read many reviews and always rate and am ever hopeful that one day soon I will produce a review that will earn me my first nomination. I think it is easier said than done though as the review I have read that have been nominated have been outstanding.

I really do rate churners too. I know that some people have issues with them, but they keep the site going I am sure and occasionally, I will churn some out too, particularly when I am close to the fifty or hundred pound milestone. I think provided the review is worthy, then there is nothing wrong with it.

Finally, rating reviews. I love getting rated and checking what people have said and I have found that the comments left on Dooyoo are far friendlier than on CIAO. I have very little time for those people who critices when criticism is not really needed, for example, if I have missed out a comma or something. I do have a life outside of Dooyoo and I am sure that before they use the reviews we write they are checked 100 times anyhow!

Dooyoo has been great in keeping my mind active and I always laugh to myself now when I am out and about in town. I find myself reviewing items in my head as I walk along and making a mental list of what I can write about when I get home!

I read one Dooyoo writers information last week and was impressed to see that she was at eight hundred reviews!

This is something that I intend to aspire too!
