Advantages: you get paid four your opinion
Disadvantages: i want moreeee money!
I have been using DOOYOO for a few months now. I keep getting bored, or run out of things I want to review so i give up, but then I also have phases of reviewing like a mad woman.
WHAT IS IT?
well dooyoo is a review site. For a premiem review, which is a review over 150 words, also graded on quality, if copied or utter rubbish will not get points, for every premien review you get 500 miles.
WHAT CAN I GET WITH MY MILES?
For every 5000 miles you can send £5 to the charity of your choice.
For every 20,000 miles you get £20 Amazon vouchers. Needs to be a minimum of 20,000 but any mileage in the five of thousand range is redeemable at amazon.
FOR Every 50,000 miles you can get £50 cash. minimum of 50,000 comes via cheque.
HOW ELSE CAN I EARN MILES?
Reviews are the simplist way, 500 points per review plus everytime it is read within 6 months you get 15 miles.
For referring friends you get 500 miles.
A crowned review gets you 1000 miles.
HOW DO I GET CROWNS?
well I have not been lucky enough to get a crown as of yet :-(
However a crowned review is voted for by other dooyoo users. The can click to nominate you for a crown. If dooyoo believes its a worthy review then you get it! The review has to be of a high standard, minimal grammar mistakes. Goes into a great deal of detail, different opinions, technical aspects etc... You can read newly crowned reviews using the toolbar on the left hand die. I would suggest newbies to have a read through to get an understanding.
WHAT CAN I REVIEW?
Pretty much anything. In the "what can we help you find?" Search bar, if you get results which you want you can click on that review, e.g
I type "SKITTLES"
The third one on list is 'MARS SKITTLES' i click that title (in blue) on right hand side i click WRITE A REVIEW, then away you go.
Sometimes what you look for cant be found, try emailing dooyoo a suggestion to be put on.
IS IT WORTH IT?
YES. I like to review to help save money on occasions. For example Christmas is up-coming so i'm reviewing away to save money on blu-rays and c.d's I'll be buying for family members. Why not? You've earnt the money, its saves!
DO YOU REALLY GET PAID?
YES. I have had my payouts within a few days everytime i have redeemed!. Great service!
Summary: a great easy way to earn some extra pennies!

- 25/10/09 A crowned review gets you 1500 miles if I remember correctly.
You forgot to mention (or perhaps haven't realised) that you can improve the amount you earn by reading and rating other reviews and thereby getting return rates. Not necessarily from the same person but if some members see that you aren't returning rates to the community they won't bother to read you much. It makes a big difference. |
