100th Review....

No, I am not sure I believe it either!

Well it is true, just over a year and I have reached 100 reviews. I feel rather proud of myself. So, to mark the occasion in my own little world, I thought I would write a rather random review on Dooyoo and my last 12 months.

** Dooyoo Addiction **

I honestly believe that most people who are active on Dooyoo have a bit of an addiction to it. Myself included. Whether it means looking at things in supermarkets and thinking oh I could write a review on that, to reading a new book and thinking, oh I must remember to write about that! Come on now, I know I'm not the only one!
I honestly didn't believe there was a way to make money online that didn't involve spending loads of money to begin with, selling something (including yourself... or your soul!) and mainly something rather enjoyable. Dooyoo is just that, writing is something I love and making money... well I'm hardly going to say no!
I originally started in October 2008, was on for a few months reached two payouts and then struggle to get the momentum again to build up the Dooyoo miles. So had a little break. I came back a few months ago (to a warm welcome may I add!) and have decided I never want to take a break like that again! I had the URGE to write. An actual urge I tell you. Rather strange but it slowly releases itself whenever I publish a review!

** Crowns **

Well, 100 reviews and so far 15 crowns. I am proud of my crowns, and have been surprised by a couple of those gold things appearing out of nowhere on reviews I didn't think crown worthy. (But very happy they are!). I took on a lot of feedback when I first started as I think most regular Dooyoo'ers do and I really enjoy writing my reviews. I love the comments from readers and a crown just tops it off.
Personally I never say when I nominate a review. I just do it. I have thought about making a statement but I think it's a nice surprise when the 'flash' pops up next to the title... POW! Gold Crown!
I have also won the monthly competitions a couple of times and been the 'face' on crown of the day and dooyoo'er of the week. I always get excited about it. I don't churn out 5 reviews a day, I just can't do it (well done to the people who do great reviews at such speed!) but that's just not me. So getting recognised for my reviews I feel is an achievement.

** Members **

So many members have come and gone in the year I have been here, and there are members that I feel like I know, even if I have never spoken or conversed with them. Some members write a review and I know exactly what to expect. Something humorous and funny or something short and sweet. I have never been someone to get involved in the nitty gritty community side of Dooyoo, just sitting quietly a known face to few and a stranger to some. But I'd like to thing I stick my nose in now and again.

Then there are the messages. Just the other day I had a marriage proposal. I won't name and shame but really is it necessary! Oh but you have to laugh. I am sure many other people have had a few.... Random messages popping along!

There are lots of members on here who over the year have messaged me helpful comments, ideas and suggestion or just shared their own opinions with me. But there are a couple of people I have to mention, mainly because of their reviews... surprisingly....

Glitter princess - for helping me with my beauty reviews and also helping me stock up on my bathroom buys!

Rosebud2001 - for just being the pleasant, honest person that she is.

Karimkha - for somehow just being a bit of a glowing princess on every review that she writes.

Thedevilinme - for being one of the most entertaining and honest writers on here - whose opinions and comments do make me laugh.

plipplop - for the same reason above.

JJJJ - I nearly forgot... how could I???.... he has been around since I was first here and is a completely loyal member... and he remembered me from my first Dooyoo round!.... so yeah... we like him too.

And last but by no means at all least

XICripZ - A silent but amazing reviewer... who has made my Dooyoo experience much more interesting then ever expected. An expert music reviewer (who should be a guide but really he just likes his music) and probably, the nicest guy I have ever met... someone who isn't just part of Dooyoo but part of my real world too! This member has definitely put a special smile on my face! I could keep going but I won't.... How could I not add him in!

** Churners & revenge rating **

If I think about it, it does bother me but I have learnt to ignore those that dish out waffle after waffle and read and rate those who dish out a somewhat decent review. I don't bother to moan, but just ignore it. I can not get angry by what I don't read. Revenge raters, the muppets that they are... well I tend to message them if is slightly uncalled for and some people rate by mistake which is nooooooooo problem, so long as they explain this. But usually it gives them a little kick up the bum. They realise that they can be contacted and they are not as invincible as Superman.

Anyway, that was my 100th review, rather random, but at least it has been marked. No letter from the Queen (or Dooyoo team) but marked in my own little way. Role on the next 100 reviews!.... oh gosh, that seems a long way away.

Oh and of course, thanks to the Dooyoo team, for actually paying me to go and buy and write about bath stuff, and holidays, and all those things. I always have an excuse to buy something new!
