I am officially a Dooyoo addict. I joined several weeks ago, and have been gradually been writing reviews as well as reading and rating others.

The basic site is very easy to navigate in my opinion. Once you set up an account you are able to start writing reviews straight away, however there is a limit of 5 reviews a day for the first 30 days (until you become a full member). I am unsure as to why they do this but im not complaining.

You, as a user, are able to write reviews on a huge selection of products, ranging from reviewing web sites, to chocolate bars to the latest DVD's and video games. The catalogue here at dooyoo is extensive however it does not have everything (does get updated very regularly)
So why write reviews? Obviously people enjoy writing reviews and reading for pleasure, however if you want personal gain then there is plenty to be had here. For every review you write you gain 500 Dooyoo miles. Also when people rate your reviews you gain several miles. Once you gain 20,000 miles you can choose to get a £20 amazon voucher, or you can wait until you reach 50,000 miles and receive a check. There is also an option to give your money to charity. The word limit is 150 to gain 500 miles. You can write less but you will not receive any miles for this.


Using the site also helps improve your writing, spelling, typing and reading capabilities, which is always a good thing. It's a great way to kill a bit of time, make some money and find out about products that you are thinking of buying.

If you write a particularly amazing review it can and will be nominated by fellow dooyoo members for a crown. This will give you a 1500 point bonus, equivalent to £1.50.
