I have found, in my few months as a member of Dooyoo, that it is a very informative. There are lots of members and there is SO many categories to write things on, that i still haven't finished exploring!! There is a large member contingent, and many Non-members still come here to read peoples thoughts on certain products. The fact that you get payed for writing opinions, is an added bonus, but i would still write opinions even if there wasn't any money involoved, purely because this is such a great website, and a great thing to be a part of. I am not surprised that so many people join each week. The purely HUGE amount of reads that a certain opinion can get, also amazes me. When do all the people find the time to do it?? It is awing, to see such an amount of people coming together on a WEBSITE!! That shows just how far the internet has come, and exactly where it is going!! I have joined one or two other opinion websites (well one is an opinion website, and the other is a 'get payed to surf the net' type website) and i found that this is the easiest to navigate, and write on. And the other one i am joined to doesn't have half as many members, or categorys for that matter!!

The site in question is Mouthshut.com. Where there is many categorys here, most of them aren't on moutshut. Half of the bands (my favourite subject is music,) aren;t on their, and the ones that are, have hardly any opinions on them. Plus you can't write about a band in general, just their album/s. That gives me a lot less choice, and therefore i will come back to Dooyoo every time.

Of course as i mentioned above, my favourite subject on Dooyoo is Music. I am a big Alternative music fan, and i am not one who has been listening to it since it became "popular" to do so. I have always been an alternative fan, although i wasn't brought up on it. The only OLD alternative band i listen to is Black Sabbath, and that is purely because they rule. I
am more of a new(ish) alternative fan. Anything from 1989 onwards really, seeing as that is when i got my first proper album. And because their is SO many bands, to write opinions on in Dooyoo, i am always happy. I still have to write opinions on KoRn albums, Metallica Albums (especially the old ones), old punk bands like Bad Religion, NoFx, The Sex Pistols and many others. Therefore, expect a lot more music opinions from me in the near future.

Not only am I a big music fan, but i am also a sports fan. I like most football, and a LOT of extreme sports. The fact that i like football and extreme sports may sound weird, but it isn't. The fact that there is A LOT of categorys on football and some on Xtreme sports, also suits me right down to the ground. I like to come home from my days out...doing things...and writing an opinion on something like one of the two above. I could easily write an opinion on most of the premiership teams, but i don't have much time at the moment, but as soon as i have written my music opinions, expect some on the sports category, and teh England football team in particular.

And not only is Dooyoo good for me to WRITE opinions on, it is also a Great site, to READ opinions on. I like reading opinions on the things i love, just as much as i do writing them. Nothing soothes me, and calms me down more, then reading a good music opinion on something i hold dear. Many a time, I have found myself agreeing with many of the points raised, and that makes me feel like i am not so different from all the people that aren't like me, and don't think the same as me. That also means, i can make some new friends while i write. I have found many a person that likes EXACTLY the same music and other things as me. And of course, if the opinions on the things i like are REALLY detailed, i will find that person to be a good writer, and add them to my friends list, but also if i find a BAD opinion, then i won't hesitate on sayin
g what i think is wrong, and give out a few pointers. In the same way, many have given me the same pointers, and helped me to write better opinions. Therefore, i always try to do my best when writing opinions, so that i will get the best rating i can, to boost my ego (YEAH!! I AM THE BEST WRITER IN THE WORLD...hahahahahahahhahaa...see what i mean!!). And of course, i have had critisisms to my opinions, which i take on board, in order to not make the same mistakes i did last time around.

So basically, i love Dooyoo, for being able to express myself, and make new friends, and find out what other people feel about the things that are very close to me.

(of course, those people who CLAIM to be alternative fans, having heard ONE song by a band, are just as BAD as the POP fans!!!!!!!! They aren't proper alternative fans if they think that they are metal because they like Linkin Park!!!)

Sorry for the rant.....hope you enjoy my thoughts on Dooyoo...i don't know if this opinion is any good but...well hope you enjoyed it...
