Advantages: lots

Disadvantages: non member reading it

I have been with Dooyoo for a few months now and I love every bit of it. Especially when people put comments on my ops.

This is where you find lots of friends and true opinions of the products that people have bought or used.

Other people's opinions can help you stop buying the wrong products. Maybe even save you lots of money depending on the product.

Every company is going to try and sell their own product. Nobody is going to tell you that their products are no good so don't buy it.

I have had a few experiences where I was conned. Why? Because at that time I was not aware of Dooyoo otherwise I would have checked some ops on the products I bought. For example if you look at my op on ITV Digital, you will know.

We have to be very careful in making a decision these days as most of the companies tie you up with one-year contract. And once you sign, that's it. You cannot even cancel, otherwise you might even get charged for cancellation a charge, which is even higher amount.

It is unfair. We all know that. And that is where Dooyoo comes in very handy. They don't charge you for reading other people's ops. Even if you are not a member, you can still read it but the person who wrote it would be in great loss. Because obviously, a non-member cannot rate it. A very good example comes to my mind; Mr Coates. If you remember reading his op - Oi, geeks read this! under T3 had 2291 reads out of which only 39 members rated the actual op. Just imagine if all of the 2291 were members, Mr. Coates would have earned so many miles. .

Having said that maybe Dooyoo should make a rule. You have to be a member to read the op and rate it. I think this would be a good idea because as we all know Dooyoo is cutting the cost from 5p to 3p.

Joining is very simple. Just a few details including a valid e-mail address and that's it you are a Dooyoo member in no time.

So what
are you waiting for non-members? Just do it!

Does anyone know where I can put an op on Toy Story on Ice as I have been trying to find the right category? I would love to hear from you.

Sorry about the SU, but this op didn't tell us a great deal about dooyoo, and did contain a pretty blatant plug for one of your own ops, which isn't really on. Sorry!

I'd agree Dooyoo's great and even better if people want to join, but it's the non-member reads that provide the income that pays us, so I doubt Dooyoo could pay for all reads unless they cut it to 0.5p/read or something (and had a way to stop you reading your own ops whilst logged out)

Very interested, you mention that Dooyoo gets part of their income from advertising revenue. Where does the rest come from?
