Are things getting a little out of hand here? There seem to be some angry people about who have had their opinions removed or even been banned from the site for various reasons who have a few axes (napster_79 for example!) to grind.

The attraction of dooyoo is the fiscal element and the chance to voice your opinion on various subjects, some sensitive some not. For me personally, the financial gain is being paid for the benefit of experience. I think that is fair, some of my opinions are based on years of professional experience some on brief encounters so it works out evenly in the long run.

I check my account now and again and see that some opinions I have written have not been read by anyone and some have high hit rates. That is no big deal to me. My 'friends' section is woefully lacking due to the time I can spend on line reading and rating opinions. That is my loss.

It does bother me though, when peoples opinions are rated NU's for the simple fact of not agreeing with whoever is reading it. Opinions are based upon personal experience and own beliefs. Opinions must be judged by content and value of information that may or may not agree with your own. Being different is what makes us unique as human beings and should be respected not rejected. I was curious as to why one of my opinions had high VU's but one or two NU's. This was not unique to me, a whole subject worth of opinions had been rated NU by the same person by what can only be called spite.

If you have a problem with dooyoo for whatever reason, please don't take it out on the many members who spend a lot of time and effort writing well structured thought out opinions to benefit others.

If your opinions have been removed or even been banned as a member, try and find out why. Read the terms and conditions before signing up and see if you agree with them first before writing anything. Be responsible enough to accept the fact th
at your opinion may not be considered due to its basis or language used to express it.

The dooyoo moderators have a duty to all their members and readers to regulate content. Content must be based on practical terms that are of benefit, factual and do not offend.
