I-am-bored.com is one of those many websites designed to help office employees and teenagers wile away a bit of time. The site has a great deal of somewhat entertaining videos and images, the subject matters of which vary. Examples include impressive displays of technology, bizarre internet memes, college humour, medical anomolies, fat people, ugly people... you get the gist. Its in a similar vain to Ebaumsworld.com, Albinoblacksheep.com, and Weebls-stuff.com but much less entertaining.

The site layout in particular is amateurish and bland, with its formulaic 'forum-esque' style for user-posted content, with very little quality control. You can't post comments on videos unless you sign up, which is an utter waste of time as all the content is accessible anyway. There are no images or thumbnails to give an idea of what you're going to be watching, and as if the layout weren't bad enough, it's utterly littered with ad-banners and pop-ups and although there's no malware here, it's still very irritating. I think the main reason it gets so many hits is because of the fortunate web address.

There are a few seperate forums for those wanting to do some mild and tenuous social networking, but its really not worth your time unless your 14 years old and very lonely.

The entire site is slow, clunky, and difficult to navigate. The content is JUST about passable but there's not really anything here that you havent seen 100 times before. Classic yet dated flash animations and fanimutations, links to sites we've seen a thousand times before, terribly conceived flash ports of old genesis games, It's not really any good. Avoid it.

Summary: I suppose its fine for bored office-employees, but they've got to be REALLY bored & know no better.
