Vnu are the publishing company that brings you such quality titles as Personal Computing World and, um, probably a few duffers as well. Their technology website Vnunet benefits greatly from the link with PCW and does a fantastic job of hunting down those top stories you've just got to get your hands on. They also have a searchable backlog of reviews, downloads and news.

The site has a heavy corporate orientation, although it still manages to be light harted enough - and still features the odd humerous story. Sadly the site takes quite a long time to load on a 56k connection, and works better from that broardband pipe you've got sitting in the office!

Despite the numberous articles available on sites such as 'The Register', Vnunet feels like a quality site, and seems far less 'geek' orientated than other sites whilst still managing to pull off the content.
