Disadvantages: some of them are little annoying now and again
Top ten websites
My top ten websites. This is quite a weird one. I don’t usually have ten set websites I visit every time, but I suppose that here we are, I will tell you the ones I visit most often. Hope this is of some use to you.
www.google.co.uk
This is my main search engine that I use for things like coursework and for things that I need to look for. This is something that is so easy to use, that I could do it with my eyes shut. You just type this into the web address bar, and then when it gets to the page, type in the phrase or keyword you’re looking for and et voila, one brilliant search engine’s results.
www.bloopdiary.com
This is my diary. I have only just started using it, but it feels so good to be able to let everything out, to total strangers instead of letting my mad family find my diary some place ‘secret’. You can change your entries, and the font etc, and I think it is a wonderful site to be able to use
www.dooyoo.co.uk
Now this is what I am most of the time these days. I thoroughly enjoy this site, and have made a small amount so far, but I enjoy everything about this site. I enjoy the people, the reviews, and being able to write and read them. The emails I get though are simplistic and easy to read. I get along with this site really well.
www.hotmail.com
This is my email provider and I have used this provider for years. The emails can be sorted into folders, you can have up to 2 GB of space, and send up to 10mb in an email, and I really enjoy it. I have the extra toolbar as well which means I can change the font and add emoticons in them as well. This email address can be used for MSN messenger as well, which I use every time I am on the computer (it’s like a naughty addiction now). I can send the emails I don’t like straight to my junk inbox which is useful. I get about 25 emails on average a day, through ciao, people, DooYoo and chain letters. This load of emails can get a little annoying when they build up when you haven’t been on after a few days, but I get to catch up eventually. This email service rocks and is free which is an added bonus!
www.ciao.co.uk
This was my first review site I was on, and I still am on. I enjoyed the fact that I could meet new people, write about the things in which I love, so that my opinion is out there and across out to the world, and I got paid for all of it as well, which was such a great idea whoever came up with it. The only thing now is that ciao is stuffing up quite a bit. Things keep changing and going silly, but I am still on there for the time being as I still love ciao. Just please get it sorted out soon, and return to normal.
http://uk.launch.yahoo.com/
This is a fantastic music site, where I can listen to a radio, find out the gossip about the latest music, stars or celebs or even watch full length videos in which I think are great. Most of them are brand new, although a few of them are exclusives. The only thing I am a little annoyed at, is that Craig David’s song ‘ I just don’t love you no more’ still isn’t up there yet and I am getting a little annoyed at that because I think it is a fab song. But overall, this music site is great, and it’s free to join up.
www.testandvote.com
This is another opinion site, and you get paid Amazon vouchers as well. You need 20000 points to be able to get a £5 voucher, but you can also opt for a raffle type ticket to win a lot of money, but I wouldn’t want to opt for this option because it is more widespread, so you have a less likely chance in which to win. But overall, this is a good site
www.cbfsms.com/
this is a site when, when I had my pay as you go phone, and I ran out of credit, I would go to this site to send free texts to the people I needed to text. This takes a while to send and you are only allowed a maximum of 137characters, and there are lots of pop up’s along the way, but for a free text, it’s worth it. This site is good for when you need a few texts sent out to people.
www.sweetcollect.co.uk/
This is a site in which you take up offers, junk mail, join new things in which are okay some of the time, to get free sweets. The packages a slow to come through though, as I have been waiting around four months now for my package to come through, and it hasn’t even reached the dispatch office yet which is getting on my nerves. It says it won’t reach the office until around the 3rd of December which is yet another month to wait. But I think it’s cool when I end up with the sweets.
www.sing365.com
This is a good site to be able to get lyrics quickly and easily from. All you do is type I the song you want to find and up it comes on the screen. I love being able to get songs that I love the most, and then learning them off by heart, like the lines I learn in my drama productions and plays. They really rock. If you need lyrics fast, I advise this site thoroughly.
I hope you have enjoyed finding out about my top ten websites, and that this may have been some use to you.
Thanks
