Advantages: You may find some new interesting sites to visit.
Disadvantages: You may of heard/visited most of them before.
Being a bit bored, I had an idea of doing an A-Z review of websites that I use. So hear goes and hopefully you enjoying reading it and that you may find some new websites to visit yourself.
A is for - Amazon.co.uk
This site everyone should know of, it does not always have the best prices but still I use this site a lot to buy games and DVDs from as a earn quite a bit of vouchers from doing surveys and other things to spend here at Amazon.
B is for - Bravenet.com
If you are making a website this is a good place to visit, you can make guestbook’s, forums, logos and much more here to add to your own site. Most of them are free unless you upgrade your account.
C is for - Channel4.com/entertainment/games/index.html
This site I found a while back after search around for games to play. There are loads of games here that are updated daily, which include genres like shooting, sports, action and many more. There are some great games here and you find some favourites in no time at all.
D is for - Dooyoo.co.uk
I found out about dooyoo a few weeks or months after I joined ciao, from reading reviews on it, it sounded quite good. I like dooyoo the best but I think depends on the writer themselves.
E is for – Eurogamer.net
Being a big gamer I use this site almost every day, I most use it to find out t he latest news on games that are coming out, they also have trailers but are quite small. The screenshots are pretty good and that also have a section of demos to download and play on your pc.
F is for - Flixster.com
This site is best suited to people that watch a lot of films, here you can rate films you like, find out about new films, they have a big collection of images from films. It also has Biography pages of actors so you can find lots of cool information about them. As this site is community based you can find friends that have the same interests in films as you and there are also quizzes and video trailers.
G is for - Gametrailers.com
This is one of the most popular game sites, mainly as its updated every day with top videos of all consoles, also in HD versions. On top of that you also have developer’s interviews, video reviews. There is also a big community side of things were you can take part in the forum and make and add your own user movies which then will be rated.
H is for - Helium.com
Helium is a very new site I believe which is similar to ciao and dooyoo where you can add your own reviews, but the thing I hate about it is that you have to read two reviews and decide which is the better one, and it don’t let you browse yourself and rate them.
I is for - Ign.com
This is another good site for games, there’s videos, images and news on loads of consoles. But there’s more to it than games, as it’s fully of other entertainment like Movies, DVDs, comics, cars and much more.
J is for - Jobcentreplus.gov.uk
A site I don’t you at the moment but it’s a very good site if you’re after a new job.
K is for - Kingolotto.co.uk
This is the first site I uses everyday, it’s a 100% free lottery site where you can choose up to 10 lines of 6 numbers, matching the numbers you earn points or even gift vouchers or a holiday. On top of that there are other prizes that are randomly giving away. Even if u doesn’t win anyway you can trade in points you get for items like DVD films. So far I’ve won £15 in vouchers and trades in points for the 3rd fast & the furious film.
L is for - Lightspeedpanel.com
This is a survey site where once you have completed a survey you are given points which can be traded in for main things like gift vouchers, books, cds, DVDs and much more. So far I’ve only earnt enough for a £5 gift voucher.
M is for - Monkeymag.co.uk
This cool site is a 100% free weekly digital men’s magazine. It’s just like a real magazine but on the web done using flash program or something, so you get the normal stuff but you also have videos and are quite cool which you should check out.
N is for - neoseeker.com
This site I use to use a lot for gaming forums but I now use gametrailers for that. This site is also very useful for walkthrough guides and cheats which are written by other gamers.
O is for - Opinionbar.com
This site I’ve been a member for almost a year and here you can earn money for doing surveys which you get by email and login in to the site. I’ve been paid once by them of £10 which is the minimum payout which goes directly to your bank account.
P is for - Ps2review.co.uk
This site is in fact my own one that I designed that I post my own reviews up of ps2 games with images, detailed summary, desktop wallpaper and much more. I planning to add my ps3 reviews to here too but I’ve haven’t had the time to write any yet.
Q is for - Quicktime.com
Here of course you can download the program QuickTime which lets you view videos on your pc and the internet. On top of this I visit this site as there is a section with lots of trailers of the latest films on at the cinema.
R is for - Reviewwritersforum.co.uk
A site many of you use, as it’s a forum build and used by ciao and dooyoo members to discuss things and get help.
S is for - Shopto.net
A site shop I’ve not used yet as I get most my games from Amazon that I earn from vouchers, but have heard good things about this site. They sell games are great prices, even better than play.com and postage is free and fast. They also sell HD and Blu-ray DVDs and more.
T is for - Thats-what-i-think.co.uk
This is another survey site which is only about new films and DVDs, in over 1 year of joining I’ve earnt £15 worth of Amazon vouchers, which the minimum payment is £5 and u can cash it in for vouchers from Amazon, cd-wow, firebox or even donation to charity.
U is for – UK.com
This site you can search by use tabs on the left to find all different things in the UK from cars, jobs, hotels, insurance and so on.
V is for - Valuedopinions.co.uk
This one of the first sites I every joined for surveys, at first I never seem to get any from them and the ones I did I was not fully suitable, but over the last few months they have become much better and I have earnt quite a bit of gift vouchers from them. I’ve most of had a total of about £40 now in Amazon vouchers but you can trade in for many others like Boots, HMV, Argos, M&S and many more.
W is for - Wikipedia.org
This site is great, you use it like an encyclopedia, which you can find info on things such as Towns, People, Companies, Books, Films and more. I mostly use it to find extra info on games that I review.
X is for - Extremefunnypictures.com
A cool site to look at Funny image, videos, jokes, animals plus there’s also flash animations and games to play. Good if you’re bored and want to was sometime.
Y is for - Youtube.com
A site that most people known about that was bought by Google for millions of two 20 year olds, here you will find videos that has been uploaded my members from categories like games, sports, music and pretty much anything that’s entertaining or not in some cases.
Z is for - Zooplus.co.uk
This site I only found the other after my mum decided to buy a dog basket from them for my dog named lady who is now 11years old and can’t get upstairs anymore with your bad legs where she normal sleeps. They did take a few days to dispatch it but the delivery cam quick. The only thing is, ordered under £29 cost about £2.90 to post.
So that’s my A-Z of sites I use, hopefully you enjoyed reading and that you have found some new and interesting websites to visit yourself.
Summary: A Summary of good sites i use.
