Top Ten Websites

Advantages: This is the genuine top ten list of websites (in my opinion!)
Disadvantages: DooYoo isn't listed! Well, I had to be different!
I've read a few of these reviews now, where people list their favourite websites and have to say I've been a bit disappointed. I'd say about 90% of them seem to mention either a social networking site (what happened to talking to your mates in person?) google (is a search engine really one of your favourite websites? Come on!) DooYoo (I suppose a bit of brown-nosing is allowed, but it's not very informative to all those reading the list on, erm, DooYoo, is it?) or hotmail (yes, emailing is good but let's show a bit of imagination!)
Now, here's the genuine article - a list of the real top ten websites available (excluding all of the categories mentioned above.) Obviously I think these are the top ten because, well, it's my top ten list, isn't it?! I hope there will be at least one site on my list that's new to everybody that reads it but, if not, that must be because you've got the same excellent taste as me!
So without further ado (and in no particular order) here's my Top Ten Websites....
Okay, so most lists might include a cashback site or two so not the most original choice. Nonetheless, Cashbackkings is probably one of the best of the bunch, especially as it is a 100% cashback site and it also guarantees to match the rates offered by any other cashback site! What's more, if you've already paid an admin fee to another cashback site you can claim your first year at Cashbackkings completely free! Bargain.
Greenmet is a site where you can list your unwanted books and sell them online at a set price. You receive £3 for each one sold and can get the money paid into your bank or used to buy books on the site. It's really easy to use. You just type in the ISBN and wait for an email to say your books been sold. Admittedly, you might have a long wait but it beats messing about uploading photos and all the Paypal palava that goes with ebay sales!
You can (obviously) buy second-hand books through the site too - all standard paperbacks are for sale at one clear price (£3.75).
This site probably needs little introduction but is the first place to look at if you're making any major financial purchase or just want some advice about your personal finances.
There are lots of moneysaving articles on the main site written by Martin Lewis. (He's always on the tv now, thanks to the credit crunch!) There's also a forum where you can share your own tips or ask for advice. The site could literally save you thousands!
If you love reading and have lots of books gathering dust, this is an excellent site. Basically, you just list your unwanted books and arrange to swap them with other readers. Once the swap is agreed, you just have to post your book off and wait for a nice new read to pop through your letterbox. I love this one
The sign of a good website is one that you keep going back to. Figleaves is now the only place that I buy all my undies from. Prices can't be beaten and you can normally find a discount code making them even more of a bargain.
I openly admit to loving online bingo but Gala is by far my favourite. Every Thursday, they have a promotion where a number of games every hour are totally free - with jackpots of up to £70 to be won! In all, I've won nearly £300 from Gala - just on the free games! Go on - you know you want to!
Yes - the advert and it's theme tune might be really annoying but you can't fail to like their cards. They have the right card for everybody - right down to Uncle Pete who is always so difficult to buy for! Every card can be personalised and delivery is very quick and reliable.
Just enter the shopping you want to buy and this site tells you which would be the cheapest supermarket to use, sends your shopping straight to the supermarket's site (so you don't have to do the whole thing twice) and even suggests cheaper or healthier alternatives! Fantastic site.
I've signed up to lots of online survey sites but this has to be the best. You get paid in cash (by cheque) and the surveys come very frequently so you don't have to wait years to get a payout. Even better, you get a small payout even when you get screened out because you don't meet the criteria (unlike Ciao - grrr!)
A novel site which gives you recipe suggestions based on the ingredients that you have in your fridge and cupboards! You need never be stuck for inspiration again.
So, there you have it - the ten best sites on the web - unless you think differently! Please let me know!
Summary: There has to be one on here that you haven't heard of!
