Advantages: Brilliant sites that make my life easier

Disadvantages: I spend too much time on the internet!

My favourite websites are mostly pretty mainstream, but there might be one or two unusual ones in there, so if you've not heard of any then go have a look! Enjoy:

Dooyoo.co.uk: Some of you might have heard of this one! It's obviously great for earning money, it has a nice sense of community from some people, and it's also really good for introducing you to new products and finding detailed reviews for things you are considering buying.

Facebook.com: It has its faults but it does allow you to keep in touch with people who you might forget otherwise. Plus it's great for sharing photos, and I admit I enjoy playing the odd game on there too.

Ebay.co.uk: Another site with faults, but it is the one place you might be able to find bizarre items, out of print books and DVDs, and all manner of weird and wonderful things to purchase. And if you can get over the huge seller's fees then you can also offload some of your own stuff too.

Amazon.co.uk: The biggest selection of media related items, and also often the best prices. Easy to use site with reviews and wishlists. A definate favourite.

Find-dvd.co.uk: The best DVD price comparison site I have found. It's simple to navigate and it saves me time and money (see my separate review on the site!)

Hotmail.co.uk: Free, available to everyone and it does what it says on the tin - lets you send and receive emails.

Youtube.com: A great site for when you've got some free time and want to fill it, or when you're looking for a music video or a bit of a TV programme you missed. Hilarious and filled with possibilities, I love it. Again, see my separate review on it.

Yahoo.co.uk: My favourite search engine and home page. I know many people prefer Google but I like the layout, colours and design of this site and I have had it as my home page for many years. You can also customise it if you like.

Postsecret.com: A brilliant art project that brings people together. It is updated every Sunday with postcards from across the world, telling people's secrets. I plan to do a full review for this site soon.

Firebox.com: A great site for presents for just about anyone, or for yourself. It's always fun to browse the weird and wonderful products.

Summary: My favourites :)
