I am not sure what the relevance of writing my top ten sites will be to anyone, but if one person checks any of these sites out due to this review, then my job will be done. I think the title says it all so there is no need to beat around the bush.


1) www.bbc.co.uk/sport

Being a huge sports enthusiast it means that I constantly need to keep in contact with the latest news. I enjoyed reading about all sports and this site generally takes an unbiased view, unlike sites like Football365 which hate Liverpool. The Live text is a decent feature on this site, so that you can get involved during matches and keep up to date with the latest scores. I do find the online commentators a bit annoying, but it does not make much difference to the BBC experience. There are other very good sport sites like Sky sports and Sporting life, however I feel that the BBC site is the best laid out and feels very accessible. The only downside I feel is that on the smaller sports that are of little interest to the general public in this country they do not put much on the site. Sports like Basketball and American Football. Not that I am complaining, but if I was into one of these sports it may stop me from using this site.


2) www.dooyoo.co.uk

Not too much to say here as of course anyone reading this uses Dooyoo. In terms of the benefits I feel there is a great community spirit and an excellent reward system, where a reward is not generally needed. Of course the reward does attract a large number of people to the site and helps the site to grow and gives me a bit of extra spending money. There are no clear disadvantages to this site and lets hope that Dooyoo keeps getting better and better. Maybe this time next year I'll be updating this review with Dooyoo as number one.


3) www.youtube.co.uk

I started using this site before the masses, when there was not as much filth on the site. The main reason I used it was to see football goals and just random football clips from around the world. I do find it a bit harder to navigate now with lots and lots of random clips, but that it is testament to how big YouTube has become. It does provide useful information and just general fun. There are also some disgusting clips on there so some parent controls are needed here. Overall a very good site and the best in terms of viewing online videos from around the world.


4) www.bbc.co.uk/news

This is a very similar site to the BBC Sport site which is my number one. They layout is the same and it is the content which of course differs. This keeps me updating with the important world news and is split into categories depending on my interests ranging from education to technology to entertainment. Another great little aspect is the most read section where you can check out the most popular articles and also the articles that have caused the most controversy with emails being written in.


5) www.facebook.com

This seems to be in everyone's list and this time last year this may well have been number one on my list. However it has been a few months since I last used this, as I used to spend far too much time on it. I would log on multiple times a day and just spent time looking at people's profiles. Now I feel a lot happier just doing more useful stuff online and would rather waste time on Dooyoo than on Facebook. However Facebook is great for getting in touch with old friends and colleagues and organising events and things of this sort.


6) www.amazon.co.uk

In terms of buying different products Amazon is always the site I check first. Pretty much anything is on here at great prices. The majority of products they sell are cheaper than the retail stores and delivery is fast most of the time. Also the Dooyoo vouchers are used on this site so it is an extra reason to use Amazon.


7) www.ebay.co.uk

Along with Amazon this is another site that I always check to see if the product I want is available. I love the bidding aspect and this is the top auction site in the world. I have had a few bad experiences through eBay though so don't use their service as much as I used to. A lot of the items they sell are cheap and tacky so do your research on other sites like checking the reviews on here and Amazon before committing to a purchase on eBay.


8) www.liverpoolfc.tv

Along with BBC sport this is another vital sports site for me. I am sure you can guess which football team I support so this site really is only for Liverpool fans. There is lots of in-depth analysis from different players and I really do feel in the loop with all the latest Liverpool news. There are also regular journalists who do great articles. Of course similar to a few of the guides on here they believe their opinion is always right. They don't take anyone saying anything bad about Liverpool so of course the fans will love this.


9) www.yahoo.com/games

I love the odd game of Chess and whenever I am looking for someone to play I go straight onto Yahoo Games. The great aspect here is the rating system so you can find others with a similar ability to yourself. I also use fly or die but the number of users is not as great as Yahoo. Yahoo also has many other games with Yahoo Pool and Checkers also proving very popular.


10) www.neobux.com

I have invested a little bit of money into neobux so am often using this very well laid out site to try and increase the returns from my investment. This site is not for everyone but it is possible to get a very good increase on your investments so is something I would recommend checking out. I have written a full review on neobux if it is something you are interested in reading.


That is my list of ten sites and there are others like email sites I use, however the email sites are not really my favourite sites, but more of a necessity. I did not want to waste one of my options of Gmail or Hotmail or a site like that.
