I love the internet here is why.......


1. yahoo mail - i am obsessed with checking the mail that i get and i enjoy sending and getting messages back from friends. Lots of fun and may not chat soo much if not via email! It is a really easy way for all of us to keep upto date with what each other is doing and much more personal then the open posts on facebook. Have had my e-mail address for years so have lots of contacts on there.

2. ebay - i am currently selling lots of things on ebay to help me to stay on maternity leave a little longer. I also enjoy looking at what other people are selling and occassionally buy. I do find that people will pay over the odds for things and often it is the same price to go to a shop on the high street for the same product.

3. doo yoo, as above i like to write reviews and have a bit of a rant and you get rewarded which is a huge bonus. I hope that this is helpful for other people to read and to give other people the oportunity to make more informed decisions. I have also begun to use it to check other reviews before buying an item.

4. Facebook - ditto to yahoo but it is strangely addictive to see what friends and family are doing and what the status update is! I may not have kept in touch with half the people on there - not sure if this is a good thing or not.

5. Ciao, to read about products before i buy them. I have written a couple of reviews on there but it is not as good as doo yoo to write on.

6. You Tube - to watch silly video's and also to listen to music. I can waste hours doing this before i realise what time it is.

7. My bank to check my balance - to know what is going in and going out. It is also really easy to transfer money to people and to pay bills online.

8. Online shopping - to save the hastle of walking round the supermarket and wasting your time - it is soo nice to haev it delivered to your door - especially when it is cold or raining.

9. freecycle - to get rid of bigger items without having to put them in landfill - have just got rid of a double bed and file and the people that we gave them too were pleased too. Everyone wins.

10. Baby centre to discuss with other people what they are up to and how their child (same ages as your own) are doing developmentally.
