Drum Roll Please.........
My top ten websites are based on the sites I visit the most I will go downwards eventually leading to my Top website, which for me is the one site that I find the most interesting and useful and is most relevant to my interests. Hopefully some of the sites I include won't be the same old stuff everyone puts but unfortunately some will be and I apologies for that.
10. www.TG007.net
Coming in at number 10 scrapping it in is Tg007.net, Generally this is a support site for IRC and freeware where multiple downloads can be found to do with an online experience. For me this is in my top 10 as I do visit it every time I come online and I find the forum content and downloads very useful.
The main thing about this site is no one gets any support and if you ask for it you get shunned, which I find rather entertaining and this does keep me amused in some of my spare time, yes you may find that very sad but to be perfectly honest I don't really care its my top ten.
9. www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer
Personally I love to watch the BBC programs as they high quality and relevant to my interests but sadly I do miss them sometimes for Example, Dr Who, Torch Wood, Waterloo road and the apprentice are programs I commonly miss but I really need to watch or I may have a panic attack. Anyway with I player now don't have miss these shows, which I find awesome.
It's in my top 10 because I find it incredibly useful, and I'm so glad BBC started this site even though content is only available for a short period time, drat! But 30 days is usually enough to catch up on stuff I have missed. I STILL WOULD LIKE TO SEE THE LAST EPISODE OF SURIVORS and calm.
8. www.alexa.com
Alexa is a site provided by Amazon which allows you to see the world ranking of all the websites on the internet based on details which are collected through users browsing and I find it very interesting to see what is hot and what is not. It is in my top 10 because I do visit it occasionally to see what is happening, and I think it's a marvellous piece of technology.
7. www.archive.org
Archive is a website that you can go back in time and view how websites looked in the past, for example I looked up MSN.com and it looked terrible in 1995, well I suppose it was good for back then. This site is useful if you're interested in internet history or would like to view old data that is no longer live anymore, although this site isn't perfect and doesn't record everything its still an amazing piece of technological online engineering and this is why it is in my top 10.
6. http://www.youtube.com/streams_main
YouTube streams is an area of YouTube which is sometimes not noticed by everyone its been in its Beta stages for about 2 years now, but basically its YouTube with live chat, with users posting links to videos on the site and is very useful for seeing what others are watching and its very good for finding the Gems of YouTube which are missed out in general searches and at most viewed items.
This site is in my top 10 because not many people know about it and I think you should be informed and I whenever I have used this service I have been quite content to sit there for long periods of time watching all the great stuff people put on YouTube.
5. www.wordpress.com
Wordpress.com is a blogging based Website that has amazing features and design options, has plenty of users and good quality reads and is constantly updated to include new features and innovative ideas which does provide it with a very easy to use platform, read and master to your own standard. Most people would use BlogSpot, but personally this site for me. This site would defiantly be recommended by me to bloggers.
4. news.bbc.co.uk
Right this is probably a common choice but I believe BBC's News site is the best on the internet; no other news site is updated as fast with high quality news or has a large variety of news such as BBC news. The site is brilliant to catch up on current affairs and is always the first place I visit when I go online to find out about anything that is happening locally, nationally or around the world. The site is of high quality and contains most breaking news even when the USA elections were on it was updated faster which is worrying but oh well this is a definite top 10 pick from me.
3. www.oasiz.net
So if you've read any of my reviews before you know I am a sad loser who uses is chat rooms but oh well no love lost there, and this is one of my favourite websites because it can be accessed in any browser, the users are friendly and because I have been a member so long I get access to additional paid features such as groups and forums, result for being a chat nerd. The site is in my top 10 but because I think it is amazing but, I don't visit it that often.... Maybe I think I will visit it a bit more now, Thanks CIAO!.
2. www.surfthechannel.com
Surf The Channel is by all means not exactly abiding by the law by providing links to copyrighted material, but this doesn't stop me from using it. The site provides link to thousands of movies and TV programs that would just be impossible to find anywhere else, the day this site is removed will be a sad loss to the internet but I'm sure another one will spring up sometime after. This site is a controversial pick but it defiantly deserves to be high up in my Top 10 and if you disagree that's fine.
1. www.google.co.uk
My number one site of all time is google.co.uk, this site is the most useful thing when it comes to looking up information on the internet, everything is indexed in it, and probably Google is the greatest site of time in my opinion. Its unique shear ability to index and data from anywhere can not be matched by any of its rivals and for me the fact there is a UK version tops it off for me because I can find everything I will ever need from my little web browser.
You can't tell me you've never used it, you cant tell me anyone you have met hasn't used it, Google by far is the most visited website ever and it will never be matched by any other rival and this is why it is my number one website.
Thank you all for reading my review on My Top 10 sites, hopefully I have pointed you to some stuff that is a little different from the normal places you visit and yes ciao.co.uk should of probably been mentioned it came a close 11th *rolls eyes*.
Thanks Again
Ben
Summary: I love these sites.
