Advantages: At least one of these will interest you.
Disadvantages: You almost certainly have visited a fair few of them.
My Top 10 Websites and Why :
1. It has to be Google - this website is my homepage and is the first place I go when I need to search for something, translate a word, check the weather and read my email. I use Google mail which is a very simple and nice looking email website and so far have not received any junk/spam mail what so ever. I also use Google's own web browse as it is much faster and sleeker than others like Firefox and IE. (Google Chrome - I've reviewed and recommend it)
2. Download.com - this website is great for checking out and trial programs you may later wish to buy. It presents to you recently added software, freeware and lists its top 20 downloads weekly. There are user ratings and editor ratings on almost every product of which it has thousands.
3. miniclip.com - everyone likes to play a game every so often don't they. That's why I use miniclip, it offers plenty of different games from action to puzzle and are laid out in a list which you can filter down to the ones which suit you. There are plenty of addicting games with multiple levels which encourages you to come back and complete them.
4. Money Saving Expert - I have recently reviewed this site and have been signed up to its newsletter for a long time. I always like to make sure I'm getting the most for my money (and who doesn't) so that's why this website is in my top 10 as it never fails to provide discount vouchers, advice on which insurer to choose or how to earn money on-line.
5. DooYoo - This has to be in my top 10. I only recently signed up to DooYoo and it's great. I use it daily to review different products I come across and to check out other reviews on things I'm considering buying or using. Obviously you've heard of it as well.
6. Hotmail.com - this is also a great website for accessing email however is rather crowded with adverts and a lot slower than Google mail. It comes in handy though if you use a hotmail account as this is where you will go to check your mail.
7. exrx.net - this is a simple but very thorough exercise database. It is full of exercises, workouts and diets which are all detailed and have pictures and animations to ensure you do them correctly. I recommend this website to those of you who use the gym to find a whole host of different exercises to mix up your gym routine.
8. mandmdirect.com - this is a good website for those who like to buy decent clothing at cheaper prices. They seem to have a constant sale and I have noticed, mainly for men, if your a size small this website is great for you. Almost always the small sizes are the most discounted towards the end of a sale/season so grab yourself a real bargain.
9. imdb.com - this is "the" place to find out about new films I mean I noticed in 2008 they had a section about Toy Story 3! It is great for reviews on movies and trivia about them.
10. Youtube.com - not my most liked site but it's good for pretty much anything that has been on TV, listening to music, watching news stories and so much more.
Summary: Try one you havn't vistited before; i hope it will then appear in your top 10.
