Introduction
==========

I can't remember how I came across this site but I am glad I did because it is one I use now on a very frequent basis. 00fun.com has been around for approximately three years and is now the largest free e-card website. The site is completely free and there is no limit on how many you can send in one day.

The Layout
=========

When you first type in www.00fun.com you are greeted by the homepage and if you have joined it will say welcome back (your name here). To join the website is a extremely simply process you type your email address in the top right hand corner and click join and that's it you have joined.

Now the homepage is very simple with some on the most popular and new e-cards links displayed at the top, left and right hand side for easy navigation. In the middle of the page are all the categories for many different types of e-cards available.

There are also tabs located at the top named home (where you begin), e-cards, search and help.

Under the e-cards tab is all the categories down the left hand side, while the rest of the page shows the e-cards available.

The categories are:

Political, Top Picks, Holidays, Day-to-Day, Friendship, Keep in Touch, Miss You, I'm Sorry, Fun Forwards, Spiritual, Inspiration, Thinking of you, Love, Wedding, Thank you, Humour, Insulting, Good Luck, Patriotic, Birthday, Family, New baby, Graduation, Anniversary, Retirement, Promotion, Travel, Get Well, Fun Pages, Jokes, Cartoons, Sports Cartoons and What's new?

Now with so many categories and e-cards within each section, I am not going to bore you by going through each one. However you can view all e-cards prior to sending any or none of them (some can cheer you up if you are feeling a bit blue!)

Under the New tab is a shortcut to the What's New category.

The search tab enables you to find an e-card by typing in a word such as dog; 00fun.com will then list all e-cards that are relevant to your search without having to trawl through all those categories!

The help tab shows you the most common questions asked by users and if your question is not answered then you can always contact them to ask.

How to send an e-card
=================

Once you have selected an e-card you get to view it first and if the e-card requires you to enter your name then you can see what you are going to get before sending it on. Many of the e-cards requires Flash software to play the e-card but if you do not have this it can be obtained for free via the help section on the website.

After viewing the e-card if you want to send it to someone, just enter your email address, first name and surname (these do get remember by them for next time) into the first section.

In the second section you can send the e-card to up to 12-email address (it will save your friends email addresses too after the first time). You then have the option to include a note on the e-card to give it a personal touch from yourself. The final choices in section two is whether you would like a copy and when you would like to send it, as they can be done in advance (up to 12 months) to be sent on specific day.

The third section is a tick box, which is already ticked, saying get free new pages like this daily! From 00fun.com. If you do not want this just untick the box. Then finally click on send click here.

The page changes to a message to let you know that your e-card has been sent and they offer you a free gift. You can choose yes or no thanks and you are re-directed back to the homepage.

Advertisements
============

I know advertisements can be annoying but this site is free and unlimited but money has to come from somewhere. Compared to other free e-card sites I find that 00fun.com is not too bad on advertisement especially when sending the e-card. Many other sites take you through loads of advertisements, normally you have to click at least one, before sending it, 00fun.com doesn't they show you an advert after the e-card is sent and you still have the option to say No thanks.

There are advertisements dotted about the website but not too many to become annoying and there are normally at the top or right hand side of the screen. Sometimes there is one located below the e-card you are viewing.

Overview
========

I know there are many websites offering free e-cards but I personally think that this is one of the best as there are not many advertisements (even though that's how they keep going) and it is a very simple and easy site to navigate and find a suitable e-card for any occasion.

The other good thing about 00fun.com is that they do not require much information for you to use the site unlike some that require full details before they will even sign you up.

Most of the e-cards have sound so it is a good idea to ensure that your speakers are turned on to enjoy the full effect. The site is quite colourful which gives a good impression that the site is very fun (I should hope so with a name like 00fun.com).

If you have never tried an e-cards website then I would recommend that you give this one a go first as compared to the other out there this is a nice simple one to use with lots of variety of e-cards available not just for special occasions but just to send something funny to your mate.

This is a great site and suitable for everyone to use without risk to yourself. The recipient receives the e-cards quickly and follows a link on the email to view their e-card. I have never had any problems while using this site and neither have any of my recipients.
