REALTRAVELLER quickrewards.net: ... signed up for Quickrewards after reading on the Internet about them. I am already a member of few survey websites and I normally fill in surveys when I am at work. The rewards are never to great, but everything adds. Signing was relatively quick, as with many other websites, they ask you to enter a word which is scrabbled up during the registration, and I hate this, because I am bad at this and I get it wrong ma...

... is the UKs method of applying to university. Basically, you give your personal and education details, and write 4000 characters about yourself. You then pick 5 courses you would like to study, and this is sent off to the universities. If they want you, you get an offer back from them, this can be "conditional" providing you get good A2 grades or "unconditional" if you already meet requirements. You then pick 2 of your offers, 1 as your favourite and 1 as a backup, usually of lower requirements. After your A2 exams, you go to which ever of your 2 choices you made the requirements for. If you failed to meet either, you go into clearing, which means...

... Lightspeed Research Panel is a market research site. It works like most survey sites do - you sign up, fill in some information about youself and then they email you invites to surveys. I get emailed about two surveys a week on average. You click on the link in the email and it takes you to their website. Like all sites, you do get screened out, (often after asking several questions, which is dead irritating!) but I signed up about seven weeks ago and I have filled in seven surveys so far. On average they take about 15/20 minutes to fill in and they are mostly consumer surveys. On Lightspeed you get awarded points for filling in surveys, which can be used to shop...

... is frankly a completely pointless exercise. You update your status with what you are doing or have recently done, and unless you have a large group of followers, it will seem like no one cares. This is Twitter s beauty however. Knowing that your thoughts are floating around out there, just waiting to be replied to, trying to be interesting enough to gain enough followers. It can be an addictive exercise. I even managed to get a tweet from Mike Skinner and Keisha Buchanan You leave your status, wait to see if you recieve any @replies, where people leave a status that replies to what you have said, or you can send direct messages privately to one user. All of these...
