INTRODUCTION
I wanted to make my very on website, so first i needed a domain... I tried NamesCo once and they charged you to change IPS Tag, which is bad as i want to move to another host after registering the domain.
So i turned to 123-reg for my second domain purchase...

MY EXPERIANCE
The website ordering is pretty simple and straight forward for domains. You type in the domain you would like, in my case "dvdlounge.co.uk" and it will tell you if its available or not, the one i wanted (dvdlounge.co.uk) was, so i got it.

Added the domain to my basket, created an account with them and then entered my card details to buy the domain. The domain was activiated and ready to use instantly!

123-reg give you a useful tool called "instant site" and when you buy a domain you can make a one page instant site for free. So i did that and used it for a "coming soon" page. Instant site has a vareity of templates and way's to customize your holding page or one page website.

I wasn't planning on paying them for hosting, instead i went with heart internet free hosting, It was free to transfer (Changing the IPS Tag) and it seemed to transfer instantly to Heart Internet. But it can take a while for domain management features to move from your 123-reg members area, so best not mess around with them when its moving to Heart Internet as it might get lost (as one of mine did, don't worry, 123-reg solved this within a week).
I have now purchased three domains from 123-reg.co.uk and don't regret it at all.

And in the 123-reg members area you can sign up to the 123-reg.co.uk affiliate programme, to make a bit of money from your website. So i did that, i had nothing to lose, but i did gain some cash... I have now made over £50 with there affiliate programme! So i'm obviously going to be very nice and loyal to 123-reg ;-)

SUMMARY
Number 1 for buying domains, all at very competitive prices. I highly reccomend 123-reg.co.uk
