All i can say about 123-reg is wow... It's one of the cheapest domain name registers around. For under 6 quid you can have your very own .co.uk domain for the next two years.

Theres much much more as well, you get plently of email addresses to give to friends and family and you get a choice of web forwarding or cloned forwarding.

If you haven't got any webspace for the domain to forward to you can buy some quite cheaply as well.

I've been with 123-reg for years now and have never had any problems, i've even took up on the advanced features i.e. Domain name server change.

When you buy your domain you will see it up and running within 24 hours, anyone get get one even people without a visa or master card e.c.t. because you can pay via your debit card (Switch, Solo e.c.t.) which is great for younger people or people who can't get credit cards.... Some online companys forget about these people.

As well as .co.uk domains you can also get .org.uk .com .org .net and even some of the more newer ones like .me.uk .info .biz .tv... but these cost more.
