192.comNewest Review: ... you can do it for free. yes, FREE!!!. as well as giving you a map, it gives you detailed information including full name and address. It uses the UK electoral role, to find the details of all registered people over 18 living in the UK. It is totally free to sign up for this service, and is incredibly useful. you can check up to 20 names a month, which is a saving of £10 if you were to use the directory enquiries. anything that is free and this useful must be worth a look!!! I recommend it to anyone who likes a bargain, and needs to use this useful service. ... more |

192.com lets you search through telephone book databases and electoral registers. If you know a person's name you can find their address and telephone number - and more. At the simplest level it is a wonderful free alternative to BT's directory enquiries service and a quick easy way to track down long lost friends and family. But supposing you are the subject of the search? Most other reviewers have remarked that the person doing the search may not have honourable motives. There are nutters and stalkers out there, not to mention ex-lovers and enemies. That is why I strongly recommend you go and register at 192.com. You can tick a box when you ... This is an excellent search engine if you want to find people or business. Anyone who is over 18 and on the electoral register you will be able to find on 192.com. It also will give you the address and a street map to find your way around. Basically, it’s the 192 service you get on your phone and when you pay national rate number but on the Internet it’s FREE. You can also do business search, phone number searches, the site has been improved and there’s a lot o new features added to it. I think the results are very good and there are very few dead links, it’s useful if you want a phone number of a shop you have bought ... Read the complete review

192.com is similar to the BT telephone book. It will never be as up-to-date as BT's fone book or their online directory by definition but it's useful for finding people. The BT online directory doesn't have the human brain accessing it so it's very black and white. It will only bring up what you ask for and won't check either side of an entry to see if you perhaps have misspelled something. 192.com can search for similar names and will often bring up quite a few more using it's own "initiative" tha the BT online service will. 192.com offers a telephone directory that can be 2 years out of date. I know friends of mine have used ... Read the complete review

I decided to pay this site a visit after reading a view from another dooyoo user. I found it a little unhelpful at first when manovering my way around the site. It is a site that bases itself on the 192 telephone facility that we all have, where the operator can search for telephone numbers for you if you give a certain amount of information. Such as name, partial address of the person you are trying to contact. The only difference is the telephone search costs you money on your telephone bill. The internet search is free. Well if you register with them (free of charge and just name and email address necessary). They will give you 20 free ... Read the complete review
