Advantages: New program generating lots of paid mails, Free to join, Little effort needed on your part
Disadvantages: Pays in USA dollars/cents, Long wait till minimum payout reached, UK Bank charges for converting USA cheques
Programs that pay you for reading emails have been around a long long time. In the beginning, these used to be quite profitable, with plenty of regular mails being delivered to your inbox and good rates of pay simply for reading them, or clicking on links contained within them. Now however, many programs have closed down, or are sending very few emails and reaching the minimum payout rates is nigh on impossible! The growth of the Internet means that the earlier companies are no longer receiving the bulk of advertisers that they were originally and the competition has become stiffer and greater, forcing many to have closed down altogether. New companies are springing up all the time however, and it’s often a good idea to sign up to these new companies as early as possible, whilst paid emails are sent in plentiful supply and paying a reasonable rate per view or click. Then you can quickly build up a good referral database whilst the program is still in it’s infancy to enable you to earn as much cash as possible whilst the going is still good! In other words, get in fast before the real competition sets in! One potentially promising looking company is 3-2-1mail.com, only very recently launched and attracting a growing number of members. They have already started to send out paid mailings and are currently offering 3 USA cents per email that you receive (to be credited, you just have to click on the applicable link in the email) and 2 cents for each email that your referrals receive. Not a great deal of cash to be sure, but the program is completely free to join and with a lot of referrals, your earnings could add up quite quickly with little effort on your part. You can claim payment when your balance reaches $25.00 USA, so expect a long wait before you get your hands on any cash! Originally, 3-2-1 were listing PayPal as an option to claim your earnings which is a much better deal for non-USA subscribers, but this has since been
changed as members could only join if their country was supported by PayPal, so payment in now made only by US bank cheque, sent to your home address to attract members from all countries worldwide. So you can expect to have to pay big bank commission charges if you ever do manage to reach minimum payout! Some less than scrupulous people have tried signing up to get paid to read email programmes using multiple false accounts to obtain further referrals but, with 3-2-1mail, this is pretty much impossible as their system does not allow multiple sign-ups from the same computer by carefully tracking your IP address. So less chance for them to be ripped off, which will hopefully mean, more emails and ultimately more cash available for honest members! Signing up is very straightforward, you just need to complete a few basic details and also choose the subjects you would like to receive paid mails on. You are allowed to choose up to 15 of these, so be sure to choose the maximum number and pick the subjects that you think will be most supported by advertisers rather than your own personal interests. The website itself is basic, but functional with good clear links making it very easy to navigate. You can access your account to view your earnings at any time, and these are updated the second you click on a paid email link. You can also grab banners to promote the site on your own website if you have one. Overall then, it’s a promising looking site, currently just getting off the ground and sending regular paid mails but the fact that payment is by cheque in dollars means you will lose out big time due to the high rates banks charge for converting to sterling. But, if you think you can get a lot of friends to sign up as your referrals, then it’s certainly worth giving a go as it costs nothing to join, with very little effort needed on your part. If anybody is interested in signing up and wants my referral link, please drop me a
note at micaramba2000@aol.com, many thanks! :O) Otherwise, just head right on over to 3-2-1mail.com and sign up without me, sob! :O(

- 29/07/01 i have used soooooo many of these things since first using the net.
i like some and not others but i do not use any.
who wants their computers 'clogged' with more junk <anybody checked their temporary directory lately??? watch out 4 cookies too....yes from emails>.
are the rewards worth it?????
if you regularly 'clean up' your above mentioned folders manually<must be done properly> then sign up a web-based email account such as hotmail, yahoo, etc. just for this crud else you inbox <oooo-eeeerrr> may suffer.

- 25/07/01 I get quite a few paid e-mails sent to me and most of them only send a few a month, at 3c per e-mail its going to take a long time to get paid unless you are able to get a lot of referrals, as most have several leves of referrals, try joining buildreferrals.com who actively try to get you referrals. |

- 25/07/01 I am beginning to wonder whether these paid to read email programmes are really worth the hassle. Good op. |
