Advantages: Work when you want, easy to use site!

Disadvantages: There is a lot of competition!

99 designs is a great website for both small businesses and freelancers. The site provides a platform on which small businneses can advertise work they need and freelancers can provide them with drafts showing their designs and the business will then pick the best and pay the desinger for his work.

Businnes are able to start design competitions for all manner of needs such as company logo design to the design of their website. The business cleary states what it will pay for the design and people are then allowed to sumbit their designs by the deadline date.

A fab website which is easy to use for both designers and companies alike, you are able to submit as many designs as you like as and you dont have to have had any previous experience so amatuers can take part too. The site also has various features which help maintain its intergrity such as holding the money whilst the designs are submitted so the designers can ensure they recieve payment.

So far I have entered 10 competitions and won 2 for which i have been paid $500. I find this site a great way of making a but of extra cash on the side and can certainly be great if you have any upcoming cash needs! There are a lot of people who use the site so beware its no easy money.



Loads of designers have already been paid by 99Designs so if you are a professional or a beginner head over and make some cash!
