It is a portal that allows students to discuss educational problems initially, but also branches off to more relaxed chat about life, love, films, politics, and numerous other issues. A large portion of its user base, obviously, are no longer students, but that doesn t make them any less welcome. The website was first introduced in 1998 and has been a consistently popular resource. Alexa traffic research does not have traffic statistics for Bitesize but does rank the BBC as being the 45th most accessed website in the world. In the United Kingdom it is ranked 7th. It has been several years since I sat my GCSE exams but I was a student who throughly hated school. When a school signs up to the service, they are able to communicate through messages to students and set tasks and homework. There are a variety of types of tasks to be set, some of which can be done online, others can be downloaded for later use.
