poetry.com ... I don t usually review this sort of thing, but since i had a look, I figured I d have a go. The first thing I noticed when I looked at this site was the incredibly poor layout, it looks like the idea behind designing the site was to ram as much in as possible. the home page definately didn t make me want to stay there. This very poor design made navigation a very tedious job with lots of miniature font, crammed in hyperlinks that were half covered by advertisments and so called poems of the day . The website itself is huge, with hundreds of poems that have been submitted as well as extra features, it is an average site if you are in to poetry and are loo... poetry.com ... idea of winning some serious money could quite easily tempt you into entering one of the many competitions run by Poetry.com. The competitions are legitimate and it is possible to win the prizes although it appears that your chances are much improved if you live on the other side of the pond. I first got interested in the site due to an e-mail, which was enticing me to enter one of my poems into their $10,000 dollar competitions. I have entered three times now and came 3rd twice unfortunately there are no runner up prizes the 10K if for the winner. lovereading.co.uk ... is one of my most visited sites. As a self confessed bookworm, I m constantly looking for new books to read. I always find myself spending way too much time in Waterstones etc on a Saturday picking up books that I quite like the look of and buying them on impulse. My most hated thing is to buy books on a 3 for 2 offer only to find that the book didn t live up to the blurb on the back and then I become annoyed with myself for wasting probably about £15. Opinion sites like Dooyoo, Ciao etc are extremely useful, but before I came across these two sites, I used lovereading.co.uk. I still use it now, because as you will see, it is a fantastic resourc...
