Advantages: Lots of infomation - reduces the need to ring the call centre for help

Disadvantages: sometimes difficult to find what you need.

If you are studying for any of the ACCA qualifications, then this site can be a great help. You can find out lots of information on exams - for example you can print out past exam papers for all the exams in your qualification, but dont worry you can print out the answers also so you can check your work! You can also find technical articles which are relevant to your paper, these are all grouped by the paper they relate to so you dont have to sift through pages and pages. if you are a student you can register for an account called "My Acca" where, once logged in, you can enter for your next exams online (safer than the postal form - it can't get lost!), pay any outstanding fees, and most importantly view your exam results on the day they are released. This for me is the best thing about the site because you dont have to wait for the postman to put you out of your misery! Acca do send out an email with your results on the day but I've been known not to recieve this email till the day after, so getting them off the site is a real godsend.
The site is very extensive, and contains hoards of information which can sometimes make it difficult to find what you need. for situations like this they have a search box, which i find is normally quite good at finding what you want.
The site covers other things such as finding a job and improving your chances of getting a job, the publications that ACCA do that may be helpful to you in your job, information on exam exemptions and fulfilling your training requirements, and a lit of all the training providers that you can study through.
If you're in an accountancy job, there is bound to things on this site that will be beneficial to you.
