Advantages: Minimum payout, payment in local currency, payment via cheque
Disadvantages: Few Surveys
American Consumer Opinion is one of the survey sites that I joined mid last year while trying out various survey sites.
The site is free to join and is open to all members i.e international members too.
Once you register, you receive a confirmation email which is to verify your email address.
You then complete your profile on the site as this is used to match you to future surveys.
Then you just have to wait for emails to arrive but unfortunately with ACOP, these are rather few and in my region and with my profile, very few!
Each email you get notifies you of the survey length and how much you will be paid for it. Previously payments would be mailed to you via cheque when you completed the survey but in December the site sent out an email saying payments would now be added to the user's account, then one can cash out when they decide to.. You can log onto your account on the site and 'Request Cashout' from the option provided.
Payment is made via cheque in your local currency (minimum £2 in ££s) and this is sent to your postal address.
Since joining mid last year, I have been paid just £2 for completing one survey. A couple other surveys I have not qualified for and have since received no surveys.
I wouldn't recommend this one, maybe US members get more surveys since it's American but not UK or international members...
