Advantages: Low payout threshold and relatively short surveys

Disadvantages: Receive very few survey invites, less than one a month

I have said in previous reviews that I am a member of many survey sites, trying to make a little extra cash as I am sure we all want to do. After doing what seems like lots of surveys I haven't actually recieved payout from many as the payment threshold is usually too high.
Acop which stands for American Consumer Opinion Poll is one which I have received money from, all be it only a small amount.

It is easy to join, you give your details and then give a profile of yourself so that they can match to appropiate surveys, you then just wait to recieve an email asking you to make part in a survey. This is not dismilar to other sites, they all seem to operate like this.

The surveys are relatively short and you get paid in American dollars, which is converted into local currency when they send you a cheque. In 6 months I think I have done 4 surveys, each with a reward of 4 dollars. The payout threshold is also 4 dollars,so everytime I did a survey I put a request in for payout and about 3 weeks later received a cheque for about £2.50 (dependant on exchange rate at the time).

So although I have only received about £10 at least it is in my bank account and not in some survey account with an unobtainable payout threshold. I just wish they would send out more surveys as being a member of acop is never going to make anyone rich.
