Advantages: $10 through your letter box regularly, Surveys every few weeks, Multiple payment methods
Disadvantages: None
I've been a member of this site for about 4 or 5 months now, I get an email from them every 2 or 3 weeks saying there's a survey live. When you click on the link in the email you get taken to the survey page, where you enter your name and email address in order to start the screening questions. ACOP isn't bothered who in your family take their surveys, and they'll normally tell you that the female in your household should take a survey, or the main computer user or what ever. The screening questions take about 1 - 2 mins to complete, and if you qualify you take the survey straight away. I have only ever failed to qualify for a survey once or twice, and if you fail, you are entered into a draw for some consolation $'s. I've done about 8 surveys now, most of which are concerned with my views on potential advertizing campaigns for products like HP Printer Photo Paper to Herbal Essences Shampoo. The surveys are usually multiple choice. You examine the potential advertising campaign, then answer questions while it is fresh in your head. Some surveys involve typing answers in. But in general, there's just a lot of tick boxes and radio buttons to blast through. I'd say the survey's normally take me 5mins to complete now. So far I've recieved 6 x $10 gift cheques, and it seems now like every couple of weeks I get a cheque through the post. These are American Express Gift cheques, and as such are used identically to American Express Travellers Cheques. They can be used anywhere that will take travellers cheques or cashed in at an AMEX strore (If you are very lucky enough to have a store near you!) I've checked with the foreign exchange till at my local barclays bank, and they'd be happy to exchange them too. ACOP is now experimenting with alternate payment systems too, PayPal being one of them. I think maybe, as the site begins to trust your opinions you get more invitations, and possibl
y bigger surveys awarding $40 or more. But I've yet to see that. This site is the only one I've seen that lives up to it's promises to pay out money. GoZing surveys got me $4 in about 1 year. Various other sites have made me pennies. But Mrs Anne Parks of ACOP seems to send me 10 bucks every couple of weeks now, for me spending 5 mins of my time answering enjoyable questions. As soon as I have $100, I'm gonna cash my cheques in, and have a damn good night out in town, free of charge. Thank you Anne Parks!!! ------------------ Added 2/10/03 I wrote this review in late august. 2 months have passed since then and I haven't recieved a single survey invitation from APOC.com since then. Money earned from this site has totally dried up.

- 04/11/03 Umm I have $220 in gift cheques so far... ;o) Oh about your update - the surveys haven't 'dried up', it's just how it works. There's probably no partner company interested in hearing your opinions right now :) |
